·Rory Finnigan:

Appearance: Blonde hair, blue eyes, short. Always outside.

·History and Upbringing:

Rory Finnigan is the only daughter of Seamus and Erin Finnigan. Though she is of Irish decent, she has lived her whole life in Sutton in Outer London, and only visits her parent's homeland for her grandparents or to watch her father's favorite quidditch team play. Rory is an only child due to her parent’s inability to produce anymore children after a miscarriage when Rory was two. This brought on many fights between the two, and Rory, who disliked all the yelling, often found herself outside in the spacious backyard, and also found that she enjoyed the great outdoors. After a couple of years however, her parents stopped fighting, but Rory had grown so accustomed to the outdoors that rarely could she stay inside for longer than a couple of hours. This caused a great deal of trouble when her mother tried to send her to an elementary school nearby, as she would continuously try and crawl out of windows to get outside, thus getting in trouble. Eventually she was home schooled, and all of her classes were held outside and taught mostly by her father, who had begun to explain to her about magic and who she really was.

Rory grew up a daddy's girl. She's rather spoiled, and makes a point to make sure everyone knows it. She sometimes comes off as bold and brash, for she tends to say whatever is on her mind. Her father taught her to stand up for what she believed in, and speak when you want to be heard. Rory took her fathers words to the next level, and rarely every stops talking, since she believes everything she says must be heard. This turned her into quite the gossipmonger, and the go-to girl when someone 's looking for rumors to spread.

·Current State of Mind / Role In Plot:

Rory has a general lack of interest in school. She does well in herbology, however, given her love for the outdoors. She's too restless and eager to get outside to pay attention in the stuffy classroom. She has a knack for trouble, and enjoys gathering gossip to spread throughout the school.

Rory is a Gryffindor, due to her bold and fearless nature. She's a daredevil, and sometimes it seems as though she is not afraid of anything, so that it seem the infirmary is her second home. She is relatively good with people, when she's not insulting them. If they make her mad, she'll be sure to give them a piece of her mind.

Rory knows that all wizards and witches are equal, regardless whether they're muggle-born or pure-blood. Her father instilled this righteousness in her, since he fought in the Second War, and his best friend Dean Thomas was (as far as he knows) a muggle-born. Her strong will and sense of justice would propel her for good. But, unfortunately, if any secrets were to be bestowed upon her, it would mean trouble.
